Quinta da Côrtes centralised location makes the Hotel an ideal base for those of you staying in the area a few days and looking to explore the valley. Pinhão is just a few kilometres away where you can enjoy the scenery from one of the many boat trips on offer. Take advantage of the lovely outdoor swimming pool (which is never crowded as the hotel has just 8 bedrooms) and enjoy from there, the fantastic views of the valley. The house has been lovingly restored to its former glory. It`s traditional without being old-fashioned, has a warm and relaxed atmosphere, produces excellent wine and Port-Wine and serves freshly prepared menus to go with them. The heart of the establishment: the old kitchen, where you will enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner with your fellow guests, if not eating on the huge terrace. Bedrooms are spacious, well-equipped and airy. Highly trained, friendly and accommodating staff. A good place to experience the harvest yourself hands - on, so get your timing right.

- If travelling by car, try and get to the Hotel before dark, as the road leading up to the Quinta is very narrow - better driven for the first time in daylight!
