An ideal base for exploring Porto (45 mins. away by car), the Northern Coast of Portugal (35 mins. by car), historical cities such as Guimares and Braga (within one hour) and the impressive Geres National Park, a must for all nature, hiking or canoe enthusiasts. The Hotel is situated within 70 hectares of grounds, of which 50 are dedicated to vines. There are enough activities on offer to prevent boredom, but you really should visit to just do nothing! Super, accomodating and well trained staff serve excellent cuisine in the beautiful gardens or indoor retaurant.
